Staff & Volunteer Retreat

The staff and volunteer retreat is the primary orientation method for session directors, kitchen staff, nurses, volunteers, counselors, and CITs. All camp staff and volunteers are expected to attend. It is not necessary for special guests such as speakers and musicians to attend unless they will also be on-site as a counselor or other volunteer for the duration of the session.

The retreat is the third weekend in May. It begins Friday evening with dinner and concludes Saturday after lunch.

Friday PM:

Arrive and have dinner
Camp tour and prayer walk
Camp mission, vision, values, and theme
Free time/Lights out

Saturday AM:

Breakfast
Worship/Devotional
Camp Rules, Policies, Procedures
Volunteer position breakouts

Saturday PM:

Lunch
Camp session breakouts
Closing and depart
